End User License Agreement

This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“User”) and Desert of Maine Campground, Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) governing the use of the Company’s proprietary software application that integrates with QuickBooks (the “Application”).

 

By accessing or using the Application, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

1. License Grant

 

Subject to the terms of this Agreement, Desert of Maine Campground, Inc. grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Application solely for authorized business purposes related to the Company’s operations.

 

This license does not grant ownership of the Application or any underlying intellectual property.

2. Intended Use

 

The Application is designed to automate certain accounting, reporting, and operational workflows involving the Company’s financial data stored in QuickBooks.

 

The Application may perform actions such as:

 

  • Creating or modifying transactions

  • Reading financial records

  • Automating bookkeeping tasks

  • Generating reports

  • Synchronizing operational data with QuickBooks

 

The Application may interact with QuickBooks through APIs provided by Intuit.

 

 

 
3. QuickBooks and Third-Party Services

​

The Application integrates with services provided by Intuit Inc., including QuickBooks.

​

Use of QuickBooks and related services is subject to the applicable terms and conditions of Intuit.

 

Desert of Maine Campground, Inc.:

 

  • Is not affiliated with or endorsed by Intuit, unless expressly stated.

  • Does not control the operation, availability, or security of QuickBooks or Intuit services.

  • Is not responsible for outages, API changes, or errors originating from third-party platforms.

 

Users must maintain valid credentials and authorization for any connected QuickBooks accounts.

 

 

 
4. Authorized Users

 

The Application may only be used by:

 

  • Employees of Desert of Maine Campground, Inc.

  • Contractors authorized by the Company

  • Other individuals expressly permitted by the Company

 

Users may not provide access to unauthorized individuals.

 

 

 
5. Restrictions

 

You may not:

 

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Application

  • Attempt to access the source code

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works

  • Use the Application for unlawful purposes

  • Use the Application to access QuickBooks accounts without authorization

  • Distribute or sublicense the Application

 

 

 
6. Data Access and Permissions

 

The Application may access and process data from QuickBooks accounts authorized by the user.

 

This may include:

 

  • Financial transactions

  • Customer records

  • Vendor records

  • Accounting reports

  • Operational data linked to accounting functions

 

Users are responsible for ensuring they have proper authorization to grant the Application access to such data.

 

 

 
7. No Warranty

 

The Application is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”

 

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Desert of Maine Campground, Inc. makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

 

  • Merchantability

  • Fitness for a particular purpose

  • Non-infringement

  • Accuracy of financial data

  • Compatibility with QuickBooks or other systems

 

Automation tools can introduce accounting errors if misconfigured or used improperly.

 

Users are responsible for verifying financial records and maintaining proper accounting oversight.

 

 

 
8. Limitation of Liability

 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Desert of Maine Campground, Inc. shall not be liable for any:

 

  • Financial losses

  • Accounting errors

  • Loss of data

  • Business interruption

  • Indirect or consequential damages

 

arising out of or related to the use of the Application.

 

Users assume full responsibility for reviewing financial records and ensuring the accuracy of accounting data.

 

 

 
9. Security

 

Users are responsible for:

 

  • Protecting their QuickBooks credentials

  • Ensuring proper access permissions

  • Reporting suspected security incidents promptly

 

Desert of Maine Campground, Inc. may revoke access to the Application at any time for security or operational reasons.

 

 

 
10. Updates and Modifications

 

The Company may modify, update, or discontinue the Application at any time without notice.

 

Updates may include:

 

  • Bug fixes

  • Feature changes

  • Compatibility updates for QuickBooks APIs

 

Continued use of the Application constitutes acceptance of any updates.

 

 

 
11. Termination

 

This Agreement remains in effect until terminated.

 

Desert of Maine Campground, Inc. may terminate or suspend access to the Application at any time if:

 

  • The Agreement is violated

  • Security concerns arise

  • Operational needs require discontinuation

 

Upon termination, all rights to use the Application cease immediately.

 

 

 
12. Intellectual Property

​

All rights, title, and interest in the Application, including all software, documentation, and related materials, remain the exclusive property of Desert of Maine Campground, Inc.

​

Nothing in this Agreement transfers ownership of any intellectual property.

 

 

 
13. Governing Law

​

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Maine, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

 

 

 
14. Entire Agreement

 

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties regarding the Application and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings.
